In 2016, the HEUG Board of Directors and Alliance Conference Team resolved to have as many International Alliance sessions as possible at Alliance 2017. So we formed a special work group to review all International submissions and to communicate as needed with presenters to ensure that reviewers and Alliance attendees could really appreciate the value of sessions outside of a specific institution or country or region. And we communicated directly with our International members to encourage submissions.
We asked you to resolve to submit all of your great session ideas. You did! In abundance! We received 60 international session submissions and were able to accept 39. That’s 18% higher than last year.
So, there’s just one more resolution needed from you: resolve to come to Alliance 2017. It promises to be a fabulous conference. It will be even more so if you are there!!
