There is quite a bit of buzz around the HEUG world about our events, both here in the US and abroad. With our annual Alliance Conference just around the corner, now five regional events in the US, one established in Australia (Alliance Down Under), and two more in the planning stages (one in Asia-Pacific and one in Europe) the HEUG has become a truly global organization with an impressive "ground game." Kudos to all of the planning committes, speakers, exhibitors, and staff who make these events not just possible but exceptional.

I thought I would share some of the photos I snapped at one of our recent events, the Northeast Regional held this month near Princeton, New Jersey. For more information and to download presentations see the conference page here on HEUG Online.

Here is the keynote delivered by Ron Bonig from Gartner:

Here is one of my favorite slides, as presented by Margo Morrissey of Oracle during the Campus Solutions general session:

Here are two of our Advisory Group members gettng ready to present (their presentation was great -- on using components of the new Admissions Application Web Service). That is Jeremy Trumble from our Technical Advisory Group on the left and Maureen Brown from our CRM Product Advisory Group (she is the Chair), both from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

It was great to see so many enthusiastic attendees and see sneak previews of some sessions that will be presented at Alliance 2012 in Nashville in March. I hope to see each of you at a HEUG event some time soon!
