Use Oracle Communities to get your enhancements heard by Oracle

Want to get your pesky enhancements to the top of the list?!

Well good news. The EBS PAG discussed an new initiative with Oracle at Alliance that they're really keen for the Higher Education community to start using. Oracle has started exploring a new way to capture and track Enhancement Requests for their eBusiness suite products by introducing the Procurement Enhancement Request Community which you can get to from this link.

Enhancement Requests captured in this forum will be available for collaboration, discussion, and voting in order to highlight those which are most meaningful and impact product value and usability. The Oracle Procurement Development team are actively involved on the forum, reviewing the
most popular (highly rated) ideas for each product area.

And it's already working!

Oracle have just recently announced the first round of ERs for inclusion in the Procurement Suite of Applications. You can see them here.

So get over to the Oracle Community site and get involved!

But don't forget to feed our favourite PET (Product Enhancement Tracker) too.

If you use the Product Enhancement Tracker on HEUG Online to log them too you might just get all the EBS Higher Ed Community voting for your enhancement. The PAG are will also continue to discuss the HEUG Enhancements directly with Oracle so make sure you keep logging them here too.

Happy enhancement logging!

The EBS PAG
