Don't wait any longer, this is the last week to register for the Alliance Down Under conference, 7 - 9 November on the Gold Coast Queensland, Australia.  Opportunities await - hear from our keynote speaker, Li Cunxin well known as Mao's Last Dancer, take advantage of additional workshops around the conference, mix with your colleagues in higher education and enjoy the sunny Gold Coast - Register NOW.

The conference program is available here. For those interested in CRM, the conference includes roadmap sessions from Oracle and case studies from institutions including 2 Right Now users.  We are also most fortunate this year to have additional pre-conference Workshops and training:

The ANZ SIG is hosting an Oracle run 2 day workshop on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 November. The two day program will be divided into Program Enrolment day 1 and Activity Management day 2.  Participants should plan to attend both days.  An excellent operational opportunity for a deep dive into these features.

Oracle will lead a half day pre-conference workshop on its User Productivity Kit on the afternoon of Wednesday 7 November.  Hear from a hands-on expert who will speak on  the changing face of UPK and the work place. Learn how to develop, manage, deploy, track and measure content with UPK Professional and gain an understanding of the UPK Developer, the UPK Player and Knowledge Centre.

The Academic Registrar's and Heads of Student Administration Forum will again convene. This year a half day morning Forum will be held on Wednesday 7 November. Please register your interest in attending to Linda.Tracey@newcastle.edu.au

The Executive Forum will meet in the afternoon of Wednesday 7 November. Register your interest in attending to Linda.Tracey@newcastle.edu.au.

There are a number of PeopleSoft training opportunities being arranged in the weeks prior to the ADU conference, to be held at the University of Queensland.  Information has been circulated to the ANZ HEUG members.  Register your interest with i.holmes@uq.edu.au

Lastly, don't forget our two community service projects - Dress for Success Brisbane and the Guide Dogs Queensland and come prepared to support these activities.  For more information visit here.

We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities and presentations being offered this year and look forward to seeing you on the Gold Coast.
