Save the Date for Alliance 2017
Thanks for stopping by the Conference Chair’s blog! I’m Jane Baratta, your 2017 Conference Chair, and along with the rest of the Conference team I’m working hard to make Alliance 2017 another wonderful event. Mark your calendars! Alliance 2017 will run from Monday, February 27th to Thursday, March 2nd. Please note that this is a little earlier than usual as well as being over different days of the week. On top of all this the conference is turning 20! Can you believe it? And where better to celebrate this milestone than in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Resort?!
Between now and the conference I’ll be passing on how preparations are coming along and letting you know some of the important dates. At the end of June, the Conference Planning Team will be in Las Vegas for a short visit to review the space and have an in-person planning meeting.
I’ll also try and remember to include a fun fact about Las Vegas in each blog. Here’s this month’s fact: Las Vegas was originally founded on May 15, 1905 following the auction of half a square kilometre of land that was owned by the San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad.
