Save the Date!

The New England Regional User Group would like to announce the upcoming NEWHEUG Conference on August 10 - 11, 2015.

This regional conference is designed for professionals who use the Oracle PeopleSoft software in both functional and technical capacities. The conference agenda will include Campus Solutions module-specific sessions, informal “Birds of a Feather” sessions, a Manager’s session, guest speakers from Oracle and the HEUG Board, and will include PeopleSoft HCM and Financials sessions!

The conference will start off with add-on workshops on Monday, August 10th (optional) and then a full day of sessions on Tuesday, August 11th. It will be held at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

We encourage you to attend. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about new Oracle/Peoplesoft technology and features, to become acquainted with best practices, to meet with vendors and to network with friends and colleagues in our region.

Session Submission Now Open!

Critical to the success of this conference will be, as always, the sessions presented by our colleagues who can showcase the work they have done, their experiences (both positive and maybe not so positive), new tools, new ideas and new approaches to their ERPs. This conference covers all aspects of PeopleSoft ERP, including Human Resources, Financials and Campus Solutions as well as Technical and General Interest/Reporting sessions and deep-dive workshops. In addition, third party tools that are in use to expand and supplement PeopleSoft are a major component of our conference.

We all have something to learn and something to teach each other. Here is your chance to help others by presenting on a topic that you do well, some lessons learned or share your thoughts on where the future is taking your ERP.

Session proposal guidelines/suggestions:

  • Sessions can be done by an individual presenter or a team.
  • They can be from institutional staff alone or done in conjunction with a vendor who has made an impact on your project.
  • Sessions are 50 minutes or Workshops are 120 minutes long and you should plan to allow some time for questions and answers.
  • Vendors are welcome to propose sessions but their proposals must not be sales oriented and must present with an institution which uses their services.
  • We usually have more proposals than session slots. We will be determining which proposals have wide interest and appeal as the submissions are evaluated.
  • If presenting at a conference is new to you, this is a great opportunity to present in a smaller, more intimate environment than at the large Alliance conference. If you are an old hand at presentations, you know how rewarding it can be, so come do it again!

Click here for the session proposal form link - submit your proposal no later than June 12, 2015. All we need now are your topics and a brief summary. A copy of the full presentation will be requested after your session is confirmed.
