November is wrapping up and also brings to a close the final Global Alliance Conferences, which all were wildly successful. The month started with our Alliance Down Under, again held in Gold Coast, Australia, and was extremely well attended by both vendors and HEUG members. The following week was both the Asia Alliance Conference, held in Singapore, and the Arab Alliance which was held in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). I was lucky enough to attend the Arab Alliance Conference this year, and grabbed the photo from outside Abu Dhabi University which is posted here. This was the first time the conference was held in the UAE, and only the third annual conference in the region. I can tell you after meeting several local HEUG Members and supporting vendors, that this was a very successful conference and continues to build the momentum within this region where we are expecting continued growth over the next year in membership institutions.
As we in the USA move into our Thanksgiving holiday, I want to send my gratitude and thanks to all of our members across the planet that have helped to build the HEUG organization into an amazing and supportive global group that supports and engages all of our members and enables all of us to support and move forward our commitment to higher education. I am truly humbled with all of you and thank you for your continued support and engagement!
