1-2 November 2012

CONFERENCE WEBSITE NOW OPEN

Asia Higher Education User Group (“Asia HEUG”) is a community of higher education institutions in Asia who have implemented, or are in the process of implementing, Oracle applications and are interested in collaborating and sharing with each other. Asia HEUG was formed in March 2011, after the successful Campus Solutions Special Interest Group Meeting in 2010.

Collaborating with The Open University of Hong Kong, Asia HEUG is hosting its inaugural conference in Hong Kong on 1-2 November 2012. This is a golden opportunity for higher education institutions in the region to:

  • share ideas and experience on the adoption and effective use of Oracle applications,
  • obtain update on industrial trends and the product and technology roadmap, and
  • establish network with peers and other business partners.

We welcome all interested institutions to participate in this conference. If you are currently not a member of HEUG, please ensure you join as soon as possible. You will need to be a member in order to register for the conference and to submit proposals for presentation.

Please visit the Asia HEUG Conference 2012 website (accessible via HEUG Online) to keep abreast of developments and key releases of information.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

The success of the conference depends significantly on the presentation and sharing by institutions. You can play a big part by submitting proposals for presentations in this conference. We invite you to share your ideas and experiences in the deploying and using Oracle applications on areas, but not limited to:

  • student management: all functional and project management aspects of Campus Solutions.
  • financial management: all functional and project management aspects of EBS Financials.
  • technical aspects: PeopleTools development, system integration, database management, infrastructure and middleware.

Primary presenter of the proposal accepted for presentation will receive a complimentary registration to the Asia HEUG Conference 2012.

Please submit your proposals by going to the “Presentation Guidelines” tab within the Asia HEUG Conference 2012 website (accessible via HEUG Online). Deadline for submissions is 6 July 2012.
