Alliance 2014 shaping up to be a winner!

Alliance 2014 is almost upon us, and it is shaping up to be a winner. And judging by the number of registrations, you think so too.

Each year, prior to the Alliance conference, the HEUG Board hosts a PAG/TAG Summit, where the fifteen Product Advisory Groups and the Technical Advisory Group members meet with Oracle strategists to advocate for your concerns and enhancement requests.  In addition, the PAGs meet with each other to discuss areas where the products intersect.  It is these integration points where many of the challenges reside.  Meeting together helps both Oracle and member organizations break down barriers.

The PAGs/TAG have also been busy choosing the concurrent session content for the conference.  I've just gone through each offering as our organization plans how to get the most bang for our buck at the conference.  The depth of offerings this year appears especially rich.  We're grateful to the members who have stepped up to share their experience and knowledge.

A large part of the HEUG's education and advocacy mission is carried out through the PAGs/TAG.  Feel free to reach out to them at the Community  and Birds of a Feather sessions, or at any time during the conference.  They'll be designated with banners attached to their name badges - and perhaps a few other fun accessories!

This is one time when what happens in Vegas need not stay in Vegas.  We're looking forward to seeing you.
