Previously, Griffith University manually checked student records once grades had been published to identify students who had failed a pre-requisite course and dropped these students. An email communication was also manually sent to the student to inform them of the drop. We implemented the PERC process which now checks all requirement group configuration to identify any student who has not satisfied the requirement and drops the student. We have also configured a 3C engine communication to automate the communication sent to students
