Universite de Montreal has undertaken a deep transformation by replacing every paper form used by students throughout the institution by online form. This project started in 2017 by establishing a diagnosis. The first phase of the implementation of this project was to allow student to upload the documents needed for the admission process, including identity documents.Some principles were adopted by the steering committee, amongst others, allowing a sample of students to submit the original version of the document having been used for admission and require all students for whom we had to get a government id number (necessary for state funding) to submit the original identity documents.This principle evolved over time considering the difficulties encountered throughout the implementation and the particular characteristics of each term (Fall, Winter, Summer).During the session we will overview -the project has a whole;-the decision making processes allowing sampling;-the process and decision making having allowed the establishment of the sampling method and targeted number of students sampled;-the change management interventions that were necessary;-the communication plan put in place for staff and for students;-lessons learned.
