Welcoming back International Students with Conversational Assistants (Chatbots)

Students, international or domestic, who interact on messaging channels with friends and family are now wanting to use those same channels to interact with their universities or colleges.
A properly designed Digital Assistant can now become the single point of contact for all the conversational experiences that a university wishes to provide to their students. The Digital Assistant can also interact with a student (prospective or current) in their chosen language discussing eligibility requirements, pathways, fees or scholarships and begin their journey towards a seamless admission or enrolment.
This will be pivotal as international students look forward to returning to Australia or New Zealand to begin or resume their education in a post-covid world.
A Digital Assistant can also comes with predefined 'skills' like escalation to a live agent (if required) as well as enhanced and productised integration into externalised business rules. Digital Assistants can now take advantage of generative AI paving the way for a completely new student experience.
