Since the launch of Chat GPT in late November last year, the implications of the use of large language model-based chatbot and generative AI technology in Education have largely focused on the negatives and particularly on its impact on learning assessment. Yet, there are many diverse applications of this technology in Higher Ed that range from improving efficiencies across the institution, personalising the learning experience for students, and accelerating research output - all areas of strategic importance for institutions.

By delving into these key areas, this presentation will provide an overview of how Generative AI is shaping a more dynamic and adaptive higher education landscape.
