CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
Mid Atlantic Regional Higher Education User Group 

States in Region: Maryland, Delaware, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania

 

The Mid-Atlantic HEUG is a community of Higher Education institutions who have implemented, or are in the process of implementing, Oracle applications and/or technology and are interested in collaborating and sharing with each other.

 

This HEUG-facilitated online community is used to interact with other higher education institutions in the region who use Oracle applications/technology. The Mid-Atlantic HEUG community also has an annual conference where interested parties meet - usually at one of the participating institutions - for presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities.

 

Conference Information:

 

The Mid Atlantic Regional conference will be held on June 1, 2012 at Towson University.

South Central HEUG Regional User Group

States in Region: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas

 

The South Central HEUG Regional User Group (SCHRUG) offers opportunities for members for networking, knowledge sharing, and increased communication within the growing community of higher education institutions in the region, using or implementing Oracle systems. Any institution using or implementing Oracle systems in IHE (institutions of higher education) in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Texas are eligible to participate in this regional user group.

 

Conference Information:

 

The first SCHRUG regional conference will be held at University of Texas Arlington in Arlington, Texas on July 25, 2012.

 


Chicago Area Regional Higher Education User Group

States in Region: Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa

 

The Chicago Area Regional Higher Education User Group (CARHEUG) is a growing community of Higher Education institutions who have implemented or are in the process of implementing Oracle applications and/or technology and are interested in collaborating and sharing with each other.

 

This HEUG-facilitated online community is used to interact with other higher education institutions in the region that use Oracle applications/technology. The CARHEUG Community held the first CARHEUG regional conference in August 2011

 

Conference Information:

 

The second CARHEUG conference will be held on August 8-9, 2012 at the Northern Illinois University Conference Center in Naperville, IL.

Higher Education User Group - Upper Midwest

States in Region: Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Indiana

 

The Higher Education User Group – Upper Midwest (HEUGUM) is a growing community of Higher Education institutions who have implemented or are in the process of implementing Oracle applications and/or technology and are interested in collaborating and sharing with each other.

This HEUG-facilitated online community is used to interact with other higher education institutions in the region who use Oracle applications/technology. The Upper Midwest HEUG community has an annual conference where interested parties meet for presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. This community has its roots in the Wisconsin Higher Education People Soft Users Group (WHEPSUG) which started the annual conference several years ago.

 

Conference Information:

 

The HEUGUM conference (formerly known as WHEPSUG) will be held on October 4-5, 2012 at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells Wisconsin.

 

 


North East Regional Higher Education User Group

States in Region: New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware

 

The Northeast HEUG, which includes New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware was formed in October 2010 and is a growing community of Higher Education institutions who have implemented or are in the process of implementing Oracle applications and/or technology and are interested in collaborating and sharing with each other.

 

This HEUG-facilitated online community is used to interact with other higher education institutions in the region that use Oracle applications/technology. The Northeast HEUG community held the first NERHEUG regional conference where interested parties met for presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities on October 11, 2011 in central New Jersey.

 

Conference Information:

 

The second NERHEUG conference will be held on October 15th, 2012 at Mercer Community College in West Windsor, New Jersey.

 


South East Regional User Group

States in Region: Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky

 

The Southeast Atlantic Regional User Group is the HEUG Community serving the southeast region of the United States. Membership is targeted to higher education institutions using or implementing Oracle systems in the states of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee. Institutions outside of these states are welcomed to join, and are encouraged to subscribe and participate in all aspects of this community.

 

Conference Information:

 

The 2012 SEARUG conference is scheduled for October 25 - 26, 2012 on the campus of Duke University in Durham, NC. We will again be hosting the event at the Fuqua School of Business.
