Hi Joan
Thanks very much for organising the session on 11 October and for sending out this email.
I've met or spoken with the various USC people to discuss who are our best contacts, and the following list has been proposed:
Tony Saint - Business Owner (Element Data entry/collection)
Kerry Martin - Business Owner (Reporting)
Joanne Davey - SME Reporting
Jason McIntyre - Senior Functional Analyst.
(they have been cc'd into the email)
My understanding is you already have received the names for our technical representatives (Lindsay Hegarty and Greg Heinl).
Let me know if the list is too much or any change you'd like to make.
I'm hoping we can discuss this at the ADU Executive Session and already have a broadly agreed set of requirements/specifications.
Happy to chat.
Cheers
Tony

Dear Colleagues
FYI - this email has been sent to your senior business owners today and will also be circulated to the TAG network. We would like to ensure that there is representation from all institutions and across a range of roles - business owners, SME, functional/business analysts and developers - to work with the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions development team to implement these changes in time for 2020 reporting.
If you have any questions about this group and its activities, please let me know. We will have a number of sessions at the Alliance Down Under conference in November to provide further information and an opportunity for involvement in this activity.
Regards, Joan

Dear Colleagues
As many of you are aware, the Department of Education & Training and the Department of Human Services have commenced a joint project Transforming the Collection of Student Information (TCSI)

The high level implementation timeframe

TCSI will result in changes to existing reported elements by adding new elements, changing some elements and removing others from reporting as well as the reporting method. The project has released the data collection changes and the B2G API Specification v1.0. The project has organised an ongoing representative group to provide feedback, information and advice in line with the Terms of Reference

This project is well advanced by the government departments.
The Oracle/PeopleSoft universities using Campus Solutions now need to mobilise to inform the design requirements for the TCSI project to inform the solution for Oracle to build. In the same way that we have responded previously to significant legislative changes, we will be organising webinars and using the Alliance Down Under (ADU) conference to progress the definition of the business requirements and supporting the technical solution development collaboratively with the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions development team.
The proposal is to have fortnightly workshops using webinars and the ADU sessions dedicated to progressing the business requirement definition and the technical solution engagement. I am requesting that you nominate and support a business and/or functional representative who is a subject matter expert in government reporting to participate in the PS TCSI workshops. A similar request will be made for technical representatives through the ANZ HEUG listserv. The first business/functional webinar is scheduled for 11 October at 1:30pm-3:00pm (Canberra time - we will be on daylight saving by then).
Please send your business representative nominee(s) to me by Friday 28 September 2018.
Regards, Joan
