Northwest Presentations

Tacoma Community College utilizes Notes and Comments functionality in PeopleSoft to have information available at a glance about a student. This session will provide an overview of Service Indicators, Comments, Advising Notes, Milestones, and Checklists to maximize communication to students and tracking student data for users in different departments across campus. For example:
a. Admissions uses Residency Appeal Tab and Comments for missing documents/forms
b. Student Financial Services uses positive Service Indicator to make notes on a student record
c. Enrollment Services uses Advising Notes with Enrollment Services category
d. Financial Aid uses Checklists
e. Credential Evaluators use Comments link in External Education
f. Advising uses Milestones to document Education Plans
g. Comments with Student Groups
