Chapman University, a small private institution in Orange California, has been live on People Soft finance 9.2 since June 2014. When we went live, we set up our budget definitions for our Commitment Control ledgers in a simple fashion for our non operating ledgers. We found that our business needs demanded more information. This session defines the steps that we took to identify the issue and what was needed to move forward in changing the definitions, as well as the lessons learned and an outline of the steps that we took, including reporting, testing and day to day operational impact.
