Grading is an important part of the academic experience and can cause considerable stress for faculty, staff and students alike. This is why it is imperative that the grading process be fast, straight-forward and efficient. In this session, we will demonstrate the grading process in our PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Version 9.0 based Student Information System at Concordia University. This will include an overview of the Faculty Center, the Grade Approval workflow process, and the posting of grades to the Transcript. At the end of this session, attendees will be familiar with how faculty use the Faculty Center to enter and submit final grades, enter grade changes, and how the final grades are approved and posted through the Grade Approval process. Attendees will also learn about the various customizations using the available PeopleSoft Workflow Technology that were built to support these processes in the Faculty Center, such as, the Grade Distribution, and the Grade Upload process. Finally, the training tools and strategies used to train faculty and staff on the grading process will be discussed.
