Prior to upgrading to PeopleSoft Version 9.0 four years ago, the University of Minnesota had developed customized self-service code for identifying single-term attendees for manual packaging. (These include Fall-term graduates and Spring-term 'admits'.) This customization was discarded during the upgrade in a thrust to perform as many functions as possible using only delivered code. While upgrading to PeopleSoft 9.2 last year, a method of automating one-term batch packaging was developed using only delivered code. Beginning with the 2019 aid year, the U of MN will automatically prepare budgets, adjust FA Terms, batch-select and batch-package both Fall-only and Spring-only students of multiple careers at multiple institutions. This presentation will focus on the following automations:
• Identifying single-term attendees
• Updating FA Term
• Preparing single-term Budgets and EFCs
• Performing Single-term batch Packaging
