I am the Student Accounts Systems and Operations Manager at Harvard University. My passion as a leader is to use creative problem solving to deliver exceptional outcomes for staff, students, and families. In my role here, I serve as the product owner for Student Financials in our IT support team, and I oversee all operations of the Student Accounts Office. I've enjoyed working in this role since July 2015. From May 2013 to May 2015, I served as the Student Billing Manager for two years, and prior to that I held positions as a Business Analyst and Senior Customer Service Representative in the Student Accounts Office.
Harvard implemented Oracle Campus Solutions in March 2015. During implementation, I served as a member of the Student Financials implementation team and also managed the student account office, including lead responsibility for our legacy system and ongoing operations during the project. I also served as the functional lead for student biodemo and academic record conversation. Since go live, I have served as the product owner for Student Financials, managing all facets of the development lifecycle. Some of my proudest accomplishments during this period included implementing a custom Student Accounts portal to replace Nelnet (including delegate access), rolling out tuition calc for seven different registrar's offices, implementing workcenters, and finally understanding payment application (I think...).
In my personal life, I am married to Sarah and proud father of two young daughters, Risa and Ellie. I enjoy hockey, reading, and spending all my free time fixing my very old house.
