David is currently the Director of Financial Systems at the University of Louisville. He is responsible for the PeopleSoft Financial system, the Student Financial module of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system, and the Financial and HR reporting system which currently utilizes Business Objects and PeopleSoft EPM. His PeopleSoft experience started in 1999 with the HRMS 7.5 implementation at the University of Louisville. He then moved over to Financials and oversaw the successful implementation of Financials 7.5 and RDS for Financial reporting. He has been involved with multiple upgrades and oversaw the Financials upgrade to 8.8 in 2004 and 9.0 in 2008. David started with the HEUG as a member of the General Ledger Product Advisory Group (GL PAG), also serving as Chair. He helped author two whitepapers on Reporting and Documentation. He completed an elected term on the HEUG Board, serving two years as Vice President for Product. He has been on the Alliance Conference team for two years having served as Program Chair in Denver and currently serving as Conference Chair for Alliance 2012 in Nashville. He has also presented several sessions at the Alliance Conference. David is currently on the PeopleSoft Financials Customer Advisory Board at Oracle and has participated in the International Oracle User Community.
