I have been involved in HEUG since 2013, primarily involved in the Oracle EBS Advisory Group through 2019.  Throughout my 6 year tenure with the EBS AG, I spent half of that time as EBS Advisory Group Chair.  I've presented each of those years' on varying topics helping to promote the advisory group, as well as share leading information from our campus initiatives.

As IT Director of Student and Administrative Systems at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, I lead three unique teams who are responsible for supporting our student system (Campus Solutions), ERPs (Workday & EBS), and ancillary administrative applications (approx. 40+ applications).  Overseeing these critical IT applications, I have a unique view to collaborate with IT leadership on direction, project governance and strategic direction.

Recently, we have embarked on a journey to Workday, going live with HCM and Payroll in Dec 2020.  I continue to be a member of the steering committee, as well as co-led the change management efforts during the HCM project.  We have kicked off the Workday Finance implementation, with a planned go-live date of July 2022. During the Workday Finance project, I will be leading the testing workstream, as well as provide oversight for the technical workstreams.

As an IT leader, HEUG gives me an opportunity to connect with other leaders in higher ed, as well as bring together a variety of vendor solutions that help aid in strategic decisions.  Being involved in HEUG has been instrumental in helping us grow our application footprint by getting the most value possible out of our core applications.
