Bio

I have been working with the PeopleSoft ERP systems since my initial implementation of Financials and HR in 1994.  I spent my first 5 years as the lead technical resource for the implementation and upgrade of the Financials and HR product lines for a utility company in Green Bay, WI.  I then branched out and became a consultant where it allowed me to share my experiences and gain even more knowledge while helping my customers meet their needs.  In 2001, I went independent and continued assisting customers with their implementation and upgrade needs.  I brought the ability to work the entire gamut of the upgrade process from installation and configuration, through the Upgrade Process, retrofitting customizations and configuring new features, and troubleshooting issues during testing cycles including Project Management aspects.  From HR and Financials customers in the Higher Education industry, I broadened my scope by getting involved with their Student Administration systems and had the pleasure of upgrading several systems to Campus Solutions 9.2 and transitioning to the Fluid environment.

In 2019, I stepped away from consulting by joining the support team at Cornell University as a remote worker, helping to solve any issues as well as improving the use of the Campus Solutions system.  Later in 2019 I transitioned to work primarily for the Office of University Registrar (OUR) on improvements, fixes, and new development work to support compliance related activities and Student Records maintenance while also providing back-up for PeopleSoft Operations staff.  At Cornell, we have transitioned the Campus Solutions environment to running in AWS.

I enjoy mentoring others, sharing my experiences, and learning new ways of utilizing PeopleTools features to improve business processes and user experiences.

From a personal perspective, I raised my kids (and others kids) racing Soap Box Derby cars and currently am a Board Member and President of National Derby Rallies, Inc, a non-profit that promotes the STEM education related with building and racing Soap Box Derby cars and organizing and operating an annual National Championship race.
