I have worked at Northern Illinois University since 1996, with a six-year gap.
I have presented at the annual Alliance and regional (midwest) Alliance conferences from 2012-2026. I was a seven-year member of the group formerly known as the TRAG, i.e. the Connected Campus Community of Practice and am currently in my second year as a member of the Student Records branch of the CARS Advisory Group.
I have presented on PS Query, enrollment requirements, academic requirements, fluid graduation application, graduation processing, and was a member of the development team for the HEUG Query Education series.
As the Student Records Functional Lead at my institution, I manage the academic structure and am constantly learning new things about the PS reporting tools, Academic Advising module, all things student-records related, and PeopleSoft in general. There are so many facets to PeopleSoft that I am always expanding my knowledge through research and attending others' sessions at conferences, as well as by necessity as staff members leave and tasks need to be fulfilled.
