Erica Manning has a deep history at Grand Rapids Community College, having joined the Admissions department in 2018, and previously working in Financial Aid. As the Senior Functional Analyst for Admissions and Student Services, She oversees all academic applications to the college and related admissions processes. In her current role, she is focused on data integrity, compliance and system improvements.
Led by curiosity and the drive to better understand the world around her, Erica has a background in research and earned a Bachelor of Science in Art History from Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University in 2016. She is currently working on a certificate in Data Science from GRCC. An active member of the Michigan Community College Student Services Association (MCCSSA) and the Higher Education User Group (HEUG), Erica has been a panelist for a webinar on admissions fraud and most recently presented on the same topic at the HEUG Alliance 2026 Conference.
