Report to the Associate CIO and an active member of the CIT leadership team, collaborate and consult on IT strategies to solve complex IT challenges and create a culture of leadership that inspires trust from campus and business stakeholders.

Lead a 26-person team, including managers, system administrators, developers, integration engineers and consultants, responsible for an IT portfolio that provides campus stakeholders with critical, enterprise solutions ranging from vended applications, SaaS, PaaS, custom applications, managed hosting, outsourced managed application support and integrations.  Portfolio includes:

·         PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Microsoft Office365 Suite, Google Suite, Student Gmail, Perceptive Content, Kronos, Pinnacle, Confluence, Jira, Box, Longview, Student Printing (PaperCut), Adobe Electronic Signature, Blackboard, Enterprise Learning Management, TeamForge, Remedy, Oracle SOA,  Dell Boomi, Workday integrations.

Champion and lead IT innovation, strategy and change that challenges established and constrained models with solutions that transform IT applications and support.

Cultivate trusted partnerships with campus stakeholders including University Registrar, University Bursar, Directors of Financial Aid, Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, student and academic administrative leaders and staff.

Lead efforts to redefine support and operations for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and focus on improved governance, cost transparency, reduction in customizations, and formalized processes. 

2004 - 2008

·         Collaborated with over 40 functional, technical and consultant experts to implement PeopleSoft Campus Solutions as a new central computing system for student administration.  Led technical deployment of student records and management of more than 10 PeopleSoft environments. Reduced customizations by 50% through use of delivered functionality, re-usable code or re-engineering business processes.

·         Led project that streamlined the data analysis and evaluation process of legacy student records into PeopleSoft resulting in 32K lines of programming logic, 27K mapping entries, and 40 programs.  Production results concluded in 46 continuous hours with 267K students and 5.9M enrollments converted from the legacy system with three student errors and nine reported error messages impacting 200 students.

2000 - 2003

Primary technical resource on innovative, enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft General Ledger Project, PeopleSoft Distributed Business Project, PeopleSoft Tax and HRMS upgrades, and Checkfree’s Internet Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment.
