March Member News

As we all return to work and have so many great memories from Alliance 2013, the HEUG would like to welcome the 220 new members who joined HEUG.Online over the last month.  Also joining us as a new member is the Graduate School USA.

Graduate School USA is an active learning community with a rich history that spans nine decades. The range of programs and services includes continuing education, academic programs, career development and certificate programs--all designed to serve the needs of organizations and individuals in both government and the private sector. Serving 200,000 participants annually in more than 600 courses, we offer classes and programs in a broad range of government-based specialties, such as governmental financial management and auditing, human capital management and acquisition, as well as courses that appeal to a broader base (foreign languages, economics, leadership and management, and the latest software training). For more information on the Graduate School USA, please visit their institutions homepage: www.graduateschool.edu.

Many Alliance 2013 attendees are beginning to question how post-Alliance works. We offered some great sessions and many begin to have similar questions on how to review the whirlwind of sessions they attended.

  • How do I find the presentations and recordings from the sessions that I attended?
  • Am I able to view the sessions if I did not attend Alliance 2013?
  • How do I evaluate my Alliance 2013 sessions?
  • How do I give my overall Alliance 2013 feedback?

For the complete answers, check out this months Tips and Tricks blog here.

The HEUG is pleased that Oracle chose the HEUG’s Alliance 2013 conference as the venue to announce the release of PeopleSoft 9.2 for PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management. Year after year, the Alliance conference is the largest gathering of PeopleSoft customers.  In a keynote address on March 18, Paco Aubrejuan, Senior Vice President, PeopleSoft Enterprise Development announced that Friday March 22 is the general availability date for PeopleSoft 9.2. Read about it here and learn about PeopleSoft 9.2 here.
