Here at SFU we are currently using IBM IIDR to replicate a subset of tables to our Data Hub. The replication is real-time using log-scraping and SQL Server CDC. The Data Hub provides a real-time source for many of the universities read only APIs and the reporting Student Services Data Mart. As we evolve the Data Hub to the next generation Data Lake and expand to include HCM and Finance sources, the licensing of IIDR is restrictive.
What replication solutions are others using for PeopleSoft sources? MicroSoft SQL Server real-time replication requires Primary Keys which is not a reasonable customization for hundreds of tables that are being replicated.
