Unify, a connector for Tableau and OBIEE
What works?
The Unify Tableau Connector uses the native Web Data Connector within Tableau to integrate with OBIEE. This allows users to build a query and extract a data set from a data warehouse and import the data directly into a Tableau workbook. At the University of Minnesota, this has allowed us to focus on building out our subject areas in our enterprise data warehouse and leverage our OBIEE investment while serving a growing set of Tableau users.
What’s tricky?
It’s a niche technology that only works with OBIEE and Tableau.
