Highlighting customer success at Alliance 2022

It’s been three years since we last met in person for Alliance…and it’s safe to say a lot has happened since then! The higher education industry has changed dramatically in terms of how we deliver teaching, learning, and research, engage with students, and even how we conceive of the college experience. It’s been incredible to see the various ways our customer community is approaching institutional transformation: from deriving new value from Campus Solutions, to implementing Student Cloud and Student Financial Planning, to leveraging value from Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, ERP, and more.

While there are so many inspiring customer stories I could mention, I wanted to highlight a few:

Many of our institutions are leveraging new features from Campus Solutions to improve the student and staff experience. For example, University of Nebraska-Lincoln has built out a Graduation Tracking Dashboard in their user portal, which has given them richer data on degree clearance progress and provides automated tracking of any potential issues. UC-Berkeley is using Fluid navigation to reorganize the student portal and build out an alumni portal and staff homepages. SUNY-Buffalo has implemented Preferred Name to create more inclusive campus environment for students. The Virginia Community Colleges System and Loyola University of Chicago are using Oracle Digital Assistant (integrated with Campus Solutions) to answer FAQs and improve the student experience.

In our cloud customer base, schools like Baylor are using Oracle Cloud ERP to transform their business practices and manage payroll in new and innovative ways. Miami Dade College is utilizing Oracle Cloud EPM to harvest and integrate data from a number of administrative and student systems to drive their planning, reporting, and analytics journey.

In addition, we’ve seen some incredible momentum in our Oracle Student Financial Planning community, with schools like Florida A&M UniversityCoppin StateUT-Austin, and Michigan State joining together to share their tips and best practices for other schools beginning their own financial aid transformation journeys. We can’t wait to further showcase how SFP empowers students and staff over the next year, starting with our NASFAA webinar with FAMU on May 3rd from 2-3 PM EST.

Being able to engage with our customers and partners – and discussing how we can best support your own institutional transformation – is exactly why we look forward to Alliance every year. Of course, if you’re interested in engaging with the Oracle Higher Education team, you don’t have to wait until next year in St. Louis. Sign up here to learn more about Oracle Cloud World this October 16-20 in Las Vegas. We’re planning a full itinerary of Oracle higher education product demos, roadmaps, and deep dives, customer sessions, and meetings with the team – you won’t want to miss out!
