The Finance Advisory group would like to invite you to Alliance 2021.  We have been working really hard over the last year to bring you the best and most diverse sessions possible.  We are happy to tell you that we have 31 sessions representing the different areas of Finance that include Budgeting, Procurement to Pay, Grants Management, and General Ledger and Reporting.  The Birds of a Feather sessions are always lively and it’s one of the areas where conference attendees get to ask their peers for assistance with any issues.  During the Birds of a Feather sessions we will also have topics ready to discuss if anyone suddenly becomes Zoom shy. 

We would like to highlight a few sessions in each area just to get you more intrigued.  For the Budgeting area, we have Session 7818 – Smooth sailing with a user friendly custom solution for processing budget transfers.  Don’t you just love user friendly solutions? For the Procurement to Pay area, we have Session 7739 – Supplier Portal, Fluid makes all the difference!  Supplier Portal was a big buzz word this past year on the listserv.  We are lucky enough to have a couple sessions representing Supplier Portal.  For the Grants Management area, we have Session 7570 – Comparing PeopleSoft Grants to Oracle Grants Management Cloud.  It’s always good to see the new and improved.  Last but not least is the General Ledger Session 7712 – Adding a new Business Unit and activating Chartfields is not as easy as 1-2-3.  We can’t imagine that it is, but listen in and see how they were able to make it work.

The best part about having a virtual conference is that you can always go back and review any sessions that you missed during the live meetings.  The conference team is very excited to see you (virtually) at Alliance 2021.
