One feature that delivered with this PUM:
Self-Service - Feature 31224079: REQUEST TO ADD E-MAIL TO EMERGENCY CONTACT.
Here are some information of set up from oracle documentation about the feature.
- Emergency Contacts
We modified the Emergency Contacts Configuration page, the self-service fluid pages, and the administrative page to add email address, missing person contact, and comments fields. This allows users to add additional emergency contact and missing person contact information.

There is also a new option to indicate that an Emergency Contact is required. If this is selected, the delete option on the Edit Contact fluid page is hidden if the student only has one contact, and, in an activity guide, the Next step navigation is only enabled if the student has at least one contact defined.
If Missing Person Required is selected, and the student doesn’t have a contact with the Missing Person Contact checkbox selected, they will be prompted to select the checkbox for at least one contact.
The new fields are also delivered on the administrative Emergency Contact Information page. The fields can be set to required, re-labelled, and masked or hidden using Page and Field Configurator.

Currently, We assign Activity guide once per year to have our student confirm all their contact information including Emergency Contact ( phone only). I discussed about this feature with our Student Records office and we are not going to use it at this time.Please share your thoughts how your University is planning to use it.
