Do you know how to file a case with Oracle on their support website?  Do you know how to search for previous cases or other information related to an issue you have been having?

Oracle provides a miraculous amount of information on their support website.  The downside to having so many resources is that it may seem overwhelming to try to pare down the information to the specific issue you are having.  To help you to navigate through this information overload, Oracle has created several how-to videos that demonstrate how to best use the My Oracle Support website.

Of course, these videos are contained within the My Oracle Support website (Doc ID #603505.1)!  So here is a link to a document with instructions of how to get started: http://www.oracle.com/us/support/getting-started-oracle-support-2147076.pdf .  Once you have an account, you can click the link in the document to the My Oracle Support – User Resource Center.  From there, you can scroll down the “Did you Know?” section to item #18 where there is a link to the “My Oracle Support How to Series”.

The How-to series contains a number of useful videos that will teach you how to get started, configure the dashboard, search for previous cases, and create new Service Requests.

Happy hunting from the Student Records PAG!
