  • 1.  URGENT: Mini ANZ HEUG Meeting – Brisbane 9-10 May

    Dear Colleagues

    I wish to bring you up to date regarding the planning for the ANZ Mini HEUG to be held on Tuesday 9 May at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.

    • Monday afternoon (9 May) – Executive Forum; lunch will be provided.  Further details will be circulated ahead of the HEUG, but Executive Forum attendees should plan to be in Brisbane in time to commence at 12 noon at the St Lucia campus.
       
    • Monday afternoon (9 May) – PAG meetings.  Further details will be provided ahead of the HEUG, but PAG members should plan to be in Brisbane in time to commence at 1pm at the St Lucia campus.
       
    • Monday evening (5:30 - 7:30pm) – Welcome Reception at UQ's Customs House venue in the Brisbane CBD.
       
    • Monday evening (7pm onwards) – Executive Forum Dinner; details of venue will be provided closer to the date.
       
    • Tuesday (9am - 5pm, 10 May) – open general session including a presentation by ORACLE on current product roadmaps.  The agenda includes time for separate meetings for Student, HR, Financials, Technical, Reporting/BI breakout sessions on the Tuesday afternoon.  The location for Tuesday will be Womens College at UQ's St Lucia campus.  Please plan to arrive at the venue by 8:30am for registration and coffee.

    Attached you will find a list of recommended hotels in the Brisbane CBD.  We have been able to secure university rates for the Stamford Plaza and instructions about how to access these rates can be found on the attached list.  The attachment also provideds information about the various venues being used for the HEUG and associated meetings.

    As with previous mini HEUGS, a small fee of $100 will be levied to cover UQ's hosting costs and we can arrange for an invoice to be forwarded to the appropriate person at your university for payment. To register for this event please complete the attached registration form and forward it via email to s.small@uq.edu.au or fax (07) 3365 7545 by Friday 29 April.

    The registration deadline for the ANZ Mini HEUG has been extended to COB on Tuesday 3 May, but please send in your registrations ASAP.  See below for full details.
