    GDay Everyone,

After upgrading from PeopleTools 8.48 to 8.51.02 when we upgraded from FSCM 8.8 to 9.1 we have some user getting a http 501 Not Implemented Error. We have reported it to Oracle GCS and they have acknowledged that this is a known bug with the AJAX Partial Page Refresh, but just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and if you were able to put in any workarounds for this issue. It is starting to have a significant impact on our users productivity.

    Cheers,

    Hi Cyrus,

It'd be useful to see that actual request error from the web server log,
but initial thoughts are that the AJAX request is malformed in some way,
perhaps sending a "get" instead of a "GET", or that it is setting the
content type to something that the web server isn't configured for. If
so then if you could isolate a browser or browser plugin that causes
this, or modify the web server configuration to accept the requests, or
if you have a load balancer that is clever enough, rewrite the offending
call so the web server only gets requests it understands.

    HTH,
    Martin.
