Developing ADF Mobile Applications
Presented by ADF Mobile Team, Oracle
This workshop will be useful for developers, business analysts, IT
architects and also functional users.
This will be a hands-on workshop where participants walk through a
basic
tutorial to build and deploy their first ADF mobile application for iOS
and
Android. The tutorial is in three parts, with the aim that attendees
complete part one in the workshop and the remainder is completed as
homework in their own time.
If you do not wish to undertake hands-on exercises there is still value
in
attending to gain a better understanding of the concepts and potential
of
this technology and how it is being used in campus solutions.
The following afternoon session will specifically focus on the Campus
Self
Service Mobile Implementation designed to give participants a deeper
understanding of the details of configuring, integrating, customising
and
deploying the new Campus Self Service Mobile app.
Attendees will be required to bring their own laptop for hands-on
work.
For information on laptop requirements and installation of required
software refer to:

Campus Mobile and how it leverages ADF mobile
Presented by ADF Mobile Team, Oracle and Graeme Mawson
The Campus Self Service Mobile Implementation workshop will be a
half-day
workshop designed to give participants a deeper understanding of the
details of configuring, integrating, customising and deploying the new
Campus Self Service Mobile app.
The workshop will assume that participants have at least a cursory
knowledge of the functionality of Campus Self Service Mobile and will
not
be focused on reviewing or discussing delivered or forthcoming
functionality except as it relates to the above.
It is not mandatory, but participants would benefit from having
reviewed
some of the existing Campus Self Service Mobile and ADF Framework
documentation and recorded demos and training:

Campus Solutions - Architecture and Frameworks Workshop
Presented by Darren Guilbert, Oracle
This workshop is a technical session targeting both technical and
functional audiences.
It will cover a number of key architectural features and platforms that
form a foundation for recent and future product functionality delivered
by Oracle Campus Solutions. The following area’s will be covered in
depth:
1) SOA and the Entity Registry : Revise the continued focus and
direction on the Campus Solutions service oriented architecture and look
into recent enhancements to the entity registry that continue to
position the registry as a core component of future development
efforts.
2) Common Attribute Framework (CAF) : Look at the design and usage of
this flexible easy to use data extensibility framework. CAF allows
customers to more easily create adhoc schema extensions that are upgrade
safe, dynamic and more user friendly.
3) Notifications Framework (NFK) : The current Student population
demands real-time communication via any number of channels (mobile,
device push notifications, SMS, email etc). The notification framework
delivers all this and provides an extensible and configurable framework
for institutions to capitalise on for their own notification
requirements.
Workshop Fees: $50 or $80 for non ADU attendees (Per Workshop)
