Hi Robert
ANU has a mod on the term activation component for any student with a Liability Status = 310 (AUSAID do not have the same restrictions). The mod forces an override on the unit limits for the term on the Enrolment Limit page and defaults min and max total units equal to full time load and the Approved Academic Load = Full-Time.
Manual overrides have to be performed for any student with approved reduced study load to part-time. The min/max unit totals remain the same so that the student cannot drop below a max load.

We have developed an SQR report that identifies all international students with < 75% load. This is run by staff in our International Student Centre who then follow up with the individual students. Happy to provide more detail if it would be useful for you.
