Apologies for the delay in replying, I've been in catch-up mode since returning from leave for family holidays.
We are starting the journey as well so I am also interested in what others have in place. We capture just the bare minimum to be able to do government reporting ie highest qualification and place of qualification. And even with this there are concerns about how often it is updated. One of my team members has just started to look into this as a result of TEQSA requirements.

Hi
I am interested to hear from those Universities who have a solution in PeopleSoft for the storage and maintenance of qualifications held by academic staff members.
In particular:
* What module / area is being used? - person profile, training administration, LMS or some form of customisation / bolt on
* Is your solution self-service and if so do you require some form of verification / approval of the qualifications being entered.
* What level and type of data is recorded?
* For those Australian based Universities - Is anyone mapping qualifications (or equivalence) against the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), and if so is this managed by a central unit, the system or relying on the individual to identify the qualification level?
Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
