Good Afternoon,
The Alliance Conference will be held in Philadelphia in late March and we are encouraging International content for the event.
To assist, the HEUG has introduced a scholarship for each international region to contribute to the travel costs for one presenter. The value of the scholarship is US$1,000. An important criteria for the scholarship is that your institution will support the rest of the costs. Details of the scholarship are in the email listed below.
The Alliance conference is enormous and it is a great opportunity to learn from other institution, to see new things that other institutions are doing first hand and to build connections with colleagues. Therefore, I encourage you to consider the possibility of submitting a presentation to Alliance in 2020. The close date for submissions is 2nd October (next week)!
Information regarding presentation format for Alliance can be found at this link:

The HEUG's Global Council is proud to announce the introduction of a new "International Scholarship" as a way of showing its appreciation to the international members of the HEUG. This scholarship is aimed at supporting six individuals from the 6 international HEUG regions - to help offset the costs of their travel to the Annual Alliance Conference.
The long term goal of the scholarship is to nurture the HEUG's future international leadership by encouraging individuals from these international communities to begin engaging with, or continue their active participation in, various HEUG leadership roles such as conference organizing, special interest group participation and regional and Executive Committee roles.
