Adelaide Uni upgrade to CS92

  • 1.  Adelaide Uni upgrade to CS92

    Folks,

    I am pleased to announce that The University of Adelaide successfully upgraded to Campus Solutions 9.2, going live on October 2, 2018.

    We:

    * Upgraded from Peopletools 8.55 to 8.56, as well as Peopletools patching for Finance and HCM from 8.55_14 to 8.55_23

    * Upgraded our Oracle databases to 12.2.01

    * Enhanced the user interface to adopt Fluid Homepages and Navigation Collections, working closely with key stakeholders to identify areas that would benefit from 'process based' Navigation Collections.

    * Re-enabled the use of breadcrumbs via Classic Home (much appreciated by end users)

    The feedback has been extremely positive and has successfully streamlined business processing. To date, there have been NO significant issues - the result of a well-rehearsed implementation process and multiple rounds of testing which revealed incremental issues that were comprehensively dealt with prior to go live. The core Campus team and the experienced Environments team were absolutely key to the success of the project which achieved its objectives within the original timeframe and budget.

    I would like to acknowledge the exceptional effort of our Campus Upgrade Project team. Some of us will be in attendance at the upcoming Alliance Down Under, so please get in touch if you would like further details on our upgrade.

    I am pleased to announce that The University of Adelaide successfully upgraded to Campus Solutions 9.2, going live on October 2, 2018.



    We:

    · Upgraded from Peopletools 8.55 to 8.56, as well as Peopletools patching for Finance and HCM from 8.55_14 to 8.55_23

    · Upgraded our Oracle databases to 12.2.01

    · Enhanced the user interface to adopt Fluid Homepages and Navigation Collections, working closely with key stakeholders to identify areas that would benefit from ‘process based’ Navigation Collections.

    · Re-enabled the use of breadcrumbs via Classic Home (much appreciated by end users)



    The feedback has been extremely positive and has successfully streamlined business processing. To date, there have been NO significant issues - the result of a well-rehearsed implementation process and multiple rounds of testing which revealed incremental issues that were comprehensively dealt with prior to go live. The core Campus team and the experienced Environments team were absolutely key to the success of the project which achieved its objectives within the original timeframe and budget.



    I would like to acknowledge the exceptional effort of our Campus Upgrade Project team. Some of us will be in attendance at the upcoming Alliance Down Under, so please get in touch if you would like further details on our upgrade.
