Leiden University started this project from within one department, then realised it should be an University approach. This had great impact on the choices which had to be made, on the group of people involved and last but not least on the time it took to deliver the app.
Also the knowledge about app design took time to get around to create the app that we wanted. An important issue was the design, realizing the importance of a universal approach on webdesign in all systems in use by Leiden University.
