Continuing to build on the university’s centralised approach of communicating with students through the Oracle Service Cloud CRM, while taking advantage of PeopleSoft’s Student Management capabilities, a project was completed in 2017 that leveraged both systems. Several core student administration activities, including processing post enrolment requisite checks, return to study applications, student name change, change of citizenship, withdrawal without academic penalty and change of grade requests were developed using PS 9.2 webform/workflow and OSvC Outreach.The presentation will cover the methodology used to trigger and send integrated communications through the Oracle Service Cloud from PeopleSoft and some interesting elements such as ‘preview prior to send’ and ‘view as sent’ email preview functionality customised for the Service Cloud.
