The University of Cambridge is currently rolling out a customised version of PeopleSoft Fluid self-service for all students, as well as new Fluid homepages for alumni, academics and administrators, and new bespoke Fluid components as part of ongoing project work.In this talk, we will demonstrate some of our new pages in action, and present our top ten hints, tips and tricks for developing Fluid applications. We'll also highlight some of the quirks and stumbling blocks that we encountered on our journey. We will talk about developing Homepages; working with Tiles; enhancing and deploying Activity Guides; controlling portal navigation; and creating responsive pages using delivered and custom styling and classes. This talk will be valuable for any technical specialists who are currently developing – or planning to develop – their own Fluid applications.
