La Cité offers a number of one and two year programs with very defined sequences. When a student drops or fails required course and falls out of sequence, adviserswork with the student to develop a personalized program sequence and timeline. However, tracking this in traditional Academic Advising has proven limiting. The college is piloting the use of Program Enrollment to empower their advisers by taking advantage of the simplified process of making changes using the Academic Progress Tracker, as well as the ability to track non-course requirements without needing implement Milestones. La Cité has also made use of the Rules Engine to provided automated status updates based on grade entry.
