The presence of an enterprise data warehouse in an organisation has proven its benefits with clean and integrated data being readily available for reporting and analysis purposes. The value of it lies in the correctness of data, that while it is continuously changing at the source (deletions and updates), the data at the source and in the data warehouse are being kept in sync. This paper will provide details of approaches used in keeping the Wits enterprise data warehouse clean and in sync with the source systems.
