The word "delegations" used to make HR Practitioners/Administrators cringe due to the complexity and administrative burden it placed on staff to simply maintain delegation data within the HRMS. This became more pronounced when downstream systems such as e-forms, relied on current and accurate delegation data to workflow correctly. By reviewing and making changes to the delegation framework, creating a few simple e-forms and making them available to all staff, and attributing delegation data directly to positions most of our issues disappeared. This presentation will be a review of the ANU delegation process now in place within the HRMS.
