This session will the cover the Promotion & Tenure system’s design, set-up and use, as well as some of the technological solutions FSU employed to make it all work. Some features of system that will be reviewed are:
• Configurable set-up that adapts to different process requirements and changes over time;
• Rules to enforce when a specific Document Type is allowed/required, and who is allowed to add it;
• Work center design and E-mail notifications that keep users informed throughout the process;
• Automatic roll-up of all eBinder contents into a single bookmarked PDF, via a Java jar file
