In spite of the usefulness of the invoice functionality in Campus Solutions, the University of the Philippines Manila encountered many issues with this feature.

Issues on invoices included poor performance, design, and usability. User errors led to floating or unapplied payments. Initial implementation of invoices also did not fit well with university processes such as change of matriculation. Moreover, an invoice needs to be recreated for every change in the student’s financial balance.

This talk will present various issues encountered with respect to invoices and student financials. The solutions implemented to resolve the issues will be discussed, and a demonstration of the various reports and processes that were created will be shown.
