The University of Adelaide’s new Casual Automated Payment System (CAPS) was rolled out in 2 phases in 2018. The first phase, casual engagements was released in June with timesheets released in July. The solution is 100% PeopleSoft, leveraging PeopleSoft Forms for the Engagement of a casuals, PeopleSoft Activity Guides for the Onboarding of casuals and PeopleSoft Time and Labour for Timesheet management.With the implementation of this new solution there was a significant change to processes and responsibilities which impacted around 4000 users in varying roles across the university. This presentation will provide an overview of the overall change strategy used in this roll-out, including the communication approach, training plan, and lessons learnt.
