Higher education institutions regularly share important information with their students, for example about their admission status. To do this in a clear and effective way can be a complex task. The communication preferences of students are evolving with every generation. Moreover, the means of communication to choose from are getting more diverse; the choice ranges from SMS and email to studentportal, social media and chatbot.This leads to the question how to respond to this. Which channels do you choose and in which combinations? How often do you contact your students?
